My in-laws retired with the Navy and my father served in the US Army, so we are well versed in the military lifestyle and challenges and opportunities of military moves.
We've lived on base, rented off base, and purchased homes, and I can assist you with a home rental or purchase. I encourage military families to put their BAH to work for them and invest in a home if they expect to be stationed at a given location for three years or more. If you invest your BAH in a home, you'll build up a good amount of equity over the course of your military career and be in a good position to purchase your retirement dream home.

I try to keep buyer's house payments, including principal and interest and taxes and insurance within the BAH amount the government provides.
